1. How the cashback is funded
University Switch operates as an education consultancy. When a student we have supported successfully enrols at a partner university, University Switch may receive a referral fee from that institution. Rather than retaining this fee in full, University Switch shares a portion of it back with qualifying students in the form of a cashback reward. The service and guidance we provide to students remains completely free — there are no charges to you at any stage. By submitting this application, you acknowledge that the cashback is sourced from this referral revenue and that University Switch has disclosed this arrangement in full.
2. Accommodation & visa support
University Switch may assist eligible applicants with accommodation guidance and student visa support as part of the broader enrolment process. This assistance is provided at no additional cost and forms part of the general guidance service — it is not a separate contracted obligation. University Switch does not act as a registered immigration adviser or a property agent and does not promise visa approval or specific accommodation placements. Any support provided is advisory in nature.
3. Cashback amount determination
The cashback amount (up to $1,000 USD) is determined by University Switch at its sole discretion, based on the referral fee received for the specific university and enrolment. Factors considered include, but are not limited to: the destination country and city cost of living, the ranking and tuition level of the target university, the applicant's program of study, demonstrated financial need, strength of the Statement of Purpose, academic performance (GPA or equivalent), and visa and enrolment status. No two applications are evaluated identically. Submission does not guarantee any specific amount or approval.
4. Disbursement method & timeline
Approved cashback amounts are disbursed directly to the recipient's personal bank account in a single payment. Disbursement takes place only after the applicant has successfully completed six (6) months of active enrolment in the approved program at the approved target university. Proof of enrolment, attendance, and academic standing may be required before disbursement.
5. University change, cashback lapse
This cashback is issued specifically for the target university named in this application. If the applicant changes universities, withdraws from their program, defers enrolment beyond the approved intake, or transfers to a different institution at any point after cashback approval, the cashback is automatically and permanently voided. No partial payments will be made.
6. Accuracy of information
All information provided must be truthful, complete, and accurate at the time of submission. University Switch reserves the right to revoke cashback approval at any time — including after disbursement has been initiated — if misrepresentation, fraud, or inaccuracy is discovered. The applicant may be liable for recovery of any funds disbursed on the basis of false information.
7. No legal obligation
Submission of this application does not create any legal obligation on the part of University Switch to provide cashback. University Switch reserves the right to decline any application without providing a reason. Eligibility decisions are final and communicated by email within about a week of submission.
